You can explore our comprehensive information on registration, tuition, costume fees, and recital fees here. Throughout the year, there may be additional expenses such as shoes, tights, dance attire, and recital tickets, ensuring students are well-prepared and engaged in their dance experience. 

Tuition payments are structured to include 31 dance classes (30 classes for Performing Line dancers). This tuition is conveniently divided into 9 monthly payments (September - May), due by the 5th of each month, to support financial planning and ease of payment for our students and their families.

Yes! All recreation classes for ages 3 and up will have the exciting opportunity to perform in our year-end recital, showcasing their achievements to family and friends. In addition, Performing Line dancers will participate in multiple competitions and also take part in the recital, offering them valuable performance experiences throughout the year. 

Yes! TDW’s Recital provides our students with an exceptional opportunity to showcase a year of hard work, dedication, and progress in a professionally directed performance for their families and friends. This culmination of their dance training not only enhances their skills but also fosters invaluable experiences in self-esteem and confidence building. The onstage experience contributes significantly to improving school presentations, social skills, and interview readiness for future academic and career endeavors. Participation in our recital program helps children develop essential retention, teamwork, and adaptability skills, preparing them comprehensively for various aspects of life beyond the dance studio. 

Our average class size is 10-15 students. There will be a teacher to student ratio of 1 to 8. 

We primarily communicate with our community via email, ensuring timely and efficient updates. Additionally, we utilize in-class handouts, Facebook posts, and newsletters to keep everyone informed and engaged with our latest news and events. 

We warmly welcome parents to visit and observe their children's classes! Our studio features viewing windows and new TV monitors that provide a clear view of the classes, allowing you to watch your children practice. Additionally, we offer ample space for siblings to play comfortably during class time. We encourage you to join us and witness your child's progress firsthand! 

You have the flexibility to schedule a makeup class within the same age group at your convenience. You can easily arrange this through our convenient parent portal or by contacting us via email. We strive to accommodate your scheduling needs to ensure your child gets the most out of their dance experience with us. 

In the event of withdrawing from a class, we kindly request a two-week advance notice via email or written note. This advance notice allows us the opportunity to open up your spot in the class for another dancer. Please note that the registration fee and any tuition due at the time of withdrawal are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. 

 In Minnesota, we prioritize your safety during inclement weather. TDW aligns with District 112 (Eastern Carver County Schools) for weather-related cancellations. If District 112 cancels school or after-school activities due to unsafe conditions, dance classes may also be canceled. Please note that there will be no refunds for canceled classes.

For updates on winter closings, we will post announcements on our Facebook page (The Dance Warehouse in Chanhassen) and update our studio voicemail. It's important to note that while we generally follow school closings, there may be exceptions based on specific circumstances.

If classes are canceled, you have the flexibility to make up missed classes at your convenience from our regular class schedule. If suitable make-up options are unavailable, we will arrange a replacement class for you.
