TDW is truly a special place! The highly knowledgeable and skilled staff work to support each dancer and challenge them to be their best, but more importantly, they create a space where my dancer knows she is loved and feels safe to be herself. We feel very fortunate to be a part of the TDW family!

My daughter has danced at TDW for 5 years. In that time, she has found a second home in the studio, some of her closest friends, discipline and a fiery passion for dance. The studio has gone above and beyond in the opportunities it provides for their dancers. TDW has effective communication, clear expectations and a tradition of excellence for their dancers.

My daughter has been dancing with The Dance Warehouse for 10+ years now. I can't say enough about our Dance Warehouse family. We look forward to the competitions and the recital every year. Beyond that, her time at the Dance Warehouse has taught her so many great life lessons about teamwork, discipline, and confidence. This is an extremely talented group of teachers and choreographers we are so lucky to be a part of it!

Most studios sacrifice good training for high moral character or the other way around. The Dance Warehouse has found a way to make both a high priority.

TDW feels like home. We started coming because of a family recommendation and now we ARE family. My daughter feels cared for by her teachers/coaches.

TDW has been our daughter’s home away from home for over ten years. To watch her become a talented and skilled dancer has been a joy. To watch her build friendships, learn communication skills, how to take and apply constructive critiques and become an assistant to her teachers has made us prouder than anything. TDW has helped her grow in dance and beyond.

First and foremost, the community is not like what you hear about when it comes to the dance world. My daughter and I have met our best friends through TDW. Secondly, the teachers! I trust that they are pushing her and challenging her in a way that makes her a stronger and more confident dancer. They know her capabilities and strengths and hone in on those to let her shine but also know her weaknesses and continue to push her to become better. They understand that not every day is going to be a great day as they navigate school, dance and their social life and meet them at their level. And then third, the space. Walking in through those front doors is place of comfort and safety. The studios are big, lined with mirrors, viewing windows and can accommodate all sized teams. The staff does a great job of keeping things clean and organized. Tracy, the owner of the studio, is the most organized person I have ever met and very ahead of the schedule, so you always know what time commitments and expectations are expected out of your daughter throughout the year. In the end, it's all what you and your dancer want to make of it. If you're looking for a just for fun rec class for your kiddo to try out, they've got that. If your kid is starting to show interest in wanting more and try out a competitive class, they've got that. And if the time comes that they want to be exposed to a higher level of competition, they've got that too. Never in the process have we felt pressured to be a part of anything we didn't want to be - it truly is at the pace and place you and your kid are it. We're very thankful to have found this community because it's so much more than just dance, it's a second family.

Originally, we chose TDW due to a move and the name was familiar. We stayed because of how impressed we were even at the recreational dance level. It was a night and day difference from where we started. The professionalism of the staff in the classroom, encouraging but firm and always pushing dancers to do better, while also fostering a passion for dance. I have never been disappointed with an interaction from staff, and we always get feedback on strengths and where we can push a bit more. We are forever grateful for what Lilly has learned: self-discipline, accountability, leadership, and so much more. She has another home at TDW, with so much love from her peers and those that teach her. We are beyond blessed to have TDW as part of our “village”.

I started my daughter in dance at two with the main goals of meeting other kids, learning balance and flexibility, hand eye coordination and honestly because she was so darn cute in the tutu. When she began dancing, I thought it would be a phase. Little did I know that our daughter would end up loving dance, becoming part of the competitive dance program at TDW and finding a second home. TDW has brought both my daughter and I lifelong friends. The staff have watched my daughter grow up, they have been with her throughout the years of growth and change. They get to know the dancers in a way that allows them to feel comfortable and confidant. There is love and support along with discipline and accountability as these kids grow up dancing at the studio. I appreciate the excellent communication by Tracy the owner. TDW continues to grow, which makes me so proud to have been a part of the growth, but I appreciate that no matter how large the studio has gotten, the core values are still the same as they were 13 years ago when we started the TDW dance journey. My daughter cares about her teachers and continues to want to learn from them. She feels like she is continuously being pushed to be the best human, not just the best dancer. It is a place that reiterates our goals that we teach our child as parents, respect, discipline, accountability. Valuable lessons are learned like leadership and teamwork that these dancers can apply to their daily lives as they go through high school, college and whatever they chose to do in their future. They have the foundation and work ethic to be successful, hardworking, dutiful citizens.

I have 3 girls and have loved all of our incredible TDW experiences, from mommy and me to competition team. The TDW family is so welcoming. We’ve made some really good friends and have learned so much from the amazing staff. It is a positive environment that has taught my girls so much, both mentally and physically.

My daughter has been at TDW since she was 2 years old. Over the years she has improved her skills and become much more confident! I am continually impressed by the studio's amazing talent and creative choreography. TDW is honestly like one big family. The teachers, staff, and older dancers are amazing role models who genuinely care about the dancers and their families.

We will be starting year #11 at TDW this fall! We first joined after relocating to Minnesota and our daughter was just 3 years old. We originally joined for our daughter make friends and for us to get to know people with kids our age in a new community. 11 years later things are very different! What started as something to try has become my daughter's passion. She loves dance, her friends, her teachers and TDW. She will tell you TDW is her happy place, a place where she feels safe and cared for. As a result my youngest will be started her 2nd year at TDW and also loves to dance! I believe the difference at TDW is the people. The leadership and teachers are respectful, fair, kind and care about my children beyond the skills they have in dance. Our family is very thankful for the development and relationships my children have received! Also, it should be stated - we also have fun too!
