Recital Breakdown

Our Recitals take place at Southwest Christian High School (1981 Bavaria Rd, Chaska, MN 55318).

We will have one recital on Friday, May 30th, three shows on Saturday, May 31st and two shows on Sunday, June 1st. 

Most classes are involved in only ONE recital. Our performing lines will perform in several shows and a few recreational classes will perform in multiple shows as well. View which classes are in each recital here.

Yes!  Dress rehearsal for all rec students will be held in class the last week of classes (May 17-23).  Please bring your dancer in his/her first costume to class and plan to stay at TDW with him/her to be in studio to watch and gather any necessary info from the teachers.  If your dancer has more than one costume, bring the other(s) along so you can help them change between dances.  Hair and makeup is not necessary for these dress rehearsals, but all costume pieces, shoes, tights should be in place.  

Yes! Our picture week is April 28-May 1.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO REGULAR CLASSES THE WEEK OF PICTURES, PHOTOS ONLY!  PLEASE COME 10- 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED TIME TO GET READY AS WE WILL BEGIN TAKING PICTURES AT THE LISTED TIME! WE WANT TO SEE ALL DANCERS PARTICIPATE IN THEIR PHOTO OPPORTUNITY! 

Pictures will be displayed in our Recital Program!

If you are unable to make it to your scheduled picture time your dancer will be unable to be in his/her class group  photo. However you can come any time over the 4 photo days for his/her individual picture. You do not need to let us know when you are coming. We will do our best to “squeeze” you in when you arrive.  

You will receive an email with ordering instructions and be able to see photos before you purchase online. There is usually a free shipping discount added if you order by a certain date.  Look for more info soon! 

Yes! First year dancers receive a certificate of achievement and a ribbon! If this is your dancer’s 2nd, 5th or 10th year at TDW, please sign up via the google doc that will be emailed for a trophy and recognition in our program.  The deadline for signing up for a trophy is April 20, after that time we cannot guarantee delivery before recitals. We will pass trophies out the last week of dance classes in May. All other dancers will receive a medal in class.

Yes! We have recital t-shirts (with all TDW dancers names listed on the back), recital stuffies, flowers, recital shoutouts and programs available to order! Order form coming soon!

Yes! Please fill this form out completely and return it to the studio with payment by April 30, 2025.  Every order turned in by this date will be handled by a ticket lottery system.  Ticket orders turned in after this date will not be part of the original lottery and will be randomly filled to fairly designate seating. All persons ages 2 and up entering the auditorium to attend the performance, will be required to have a ticket.  Dancers performing in the recital do not need a ticket as they will be in the backstage dressing areas.**PLEASE NOTE the policy that if your dancer is performing in more than one recital, you need to submit a second choice as our shows sell out and we will need to designate tickets to the shows as we have available seating.

Tickets will be available for pickup at The Dance Warehouse during business hours the week of May 17-23, 2025.  In order to receive your tickets, your dancer’s account must be paid in full. If you have questions regarding your account, please call the studio. 

** Tickets not picked up at The Dance Warehouse during the last week of class will be available at the ticket table at Southwest Christian High School prior to each recital.

Yes! A digital link to the professional recording of our shows will be emailed to you by the end of June. The fee for this was included in your Recital Fee paid in November.  Enjoy!

No. You may purchase a Recital Program in advanced, but we will not have copies for sale on the Recital Days. We will have a digital program available for download.
